FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - TEEAM endorses MnEportal.com
14 Sept 2000 - The Electrical and Electronics Association of Malaysia (TEEAM) is a representative body of the electrical and electronics industries in Malaysia. It was established in 1952 with the aims of working closely with all government departments, statutory bodies and the private sector to ensure and promote orderly growth and development of the electrical and electronics industries.
Recognizing the significance of information technology, TEEAM has awarded the exclusive right for MnEportal, an Internet portal for the mechanical and electrical industry, to develop, host and maintain TEEAM corporate web site.
In line with this, TEEAM is able to provide up-to-date and accurate information to its members through MnEportal. To ensure the continuity of information conveyance, MnEportal become a central exchange where TEEAM's members can obtain forms, publications and references online. At the same time, MnEportal is generating an avenue for TEEAM to foster collaboration among members and related government authorities.
In exchange, TEEAM and MnEportal have entered into an agreement whereby the latter party is granted the top priority to broadcast the industry news, events and regulations from TEEAM. Furthermore, it was agreed by TEEAM to continuously encourage its members to collaborate through MnEportal.com. In order to bring TEEAM's members online, MnEportal will conduct training for them to discover benefits of utilizing the Internet.
This project, when implemented, will establish TEEAM as a resourceful and informative platform to its members in conducting e-Commerce transactions and will foster collaboration between each other.
