FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - A Step Towards the Regional Electrical & Electronics Community
16 May 2001 - Today, MnEportal.com has taken its first step towards the regional Electrical & Electronics (E & E) Community. A presentation by Mr. Luke Long, the President of MnEportal.com, was presented at AFEEC JV Meeting which was recently held at The Mines Exhibition Center, Kuala Lumpur. AFEEC is the Asean Federation of Electrical Engineering Contractors, which is formed by several Asian electrical associations from five South-East Asia countries, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia. The intention of this presentation is to introduce and explain the collaboration concept of MnEportal.com to the regional E & E participants.
The Internet has created an unbelievable phenomenon in this recent decade by shortening the time span and cost to communicate from one place to another remote location. Now, MnEportal is providing a golden opportunity for AFEEC members to enjoy the conveniences of our Internet technology, which is specially designed for the Mechanical and Electrical community.
We intend to connect every E & E community through MnEportal's platform, which will connect multiple information-exchange throughout the region. With our online facilities, such as e-mail, address book, calendar, scheduler, document storage, discussion forum, etc., the region E & E community will be able to streamlines information sharing and workflow management more effectively. Besides discussion between associations can be conducted via the net for speed and cost saving.
